Mickey Hobbs is a North Carolina farmer with his roots deeply embedded in the rural way of life. He is a simple man that takes pride in his heritage and preserving the history of the family of rural America. Mickey has captured in his art some of life's most touching moments as he remembered them growing up in southeastern North Carolina.

Mickey believes that our children are, in fact, our most precious resource. He says "...in order for our children to have a more secure future, they should understand the history of their family."
